Sally Perry, LISW-S

“This work is my calling, not my job. I learned mindfulness techniques many years before it was popular from an expert in the field, which allows me to plug into my clients and encourage them to open up to the truths of their lives and behaviors without bias or judgment.

Good mental health is crucial to good physical health, and vice versa. I specialize in treating clients with suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, codependency, ADHD, phase of life issues, sexual & physical trauma, PTSD, marital and couples issues, bariatric surgery education & support for addictive eating, as well as drug and alcohol addiction for both the addict and/or their loved ones. I also provide support and education for caregivers of geriatric family members dealing with dementia/Alzheimer’s, as well as clients who are facing serious  medical issues, such as cancer, MS, and other debilitating illnesses.

In your sessions with me, you will find no judgment, and no expectations beyond your capabilities. However, I may ask you to expand your own expectations at times, so you can evolve and grow while meeting your therapeutic goals. Psychotherapy is a relationship that can take time to grow trust and mutual regard.

I am also in active training with NLP, neurolinguistic programming, and I will make determinations as to the type of treatment that will best meet your needs and goals, be it CBT, supportive psychotherapy, mindfulness, and/or NLP. Together, we will create new purpose in your life, as well as the potential for great joy and enthusiasm – if that is your desire.  I’m ready when you are.”
